The Salamander Congress

Be on call for a chance to glimpse the
elusive spotted salamander and other rain loving amphibians!
Get ready to get wet! Here’s how it works: you put your
name on our list and on the first warm, rainy night we will
call people from the list and the first 15 folks who are available
to go, will venture out into the dark to find these shy creatures
and some of their not so shy relatives, as they migrate to
vernal pools to mate.
The Spring Slitherers program is a
great compliment to this program!
